    Harleigh Schultz worked for MGM RKO studios from 1934 until he retired.  The photos and portraits I am listing are from his sister and niece's collection.
    This was part of a massive collection of 1920's and 30's promotional photos from Hollywood from the Niece of Harleigh Schultz, Evelyn, as well as Louise MacLelland Schultz. Harleigh's sister.  Harleigh's Bio from Worldpress website.....
    Harleigh Bridges Schultz (1883-1958) graduated from the Richmond College in 1904. Subsequently, he had a successful career in journalism, working for the Richmond Evening Journal, Worchester Telegram and lastly, the Boston American, where he was a sports editor and movie critic. He moved to Hollywood, California in 1934 and joined the R.K.O.’s publicity team. He then transferred to the publicity team of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) in 1935, working there until his retirement in 1956. The collection that bears his name was compiled by several of his relatives. It contains a portion of his school records, newspaper clippings, and photographs. Items of particular interest include a two-page biography written by his niece, Evelyn Boschen, and signed photographs of Clark Gable, Cecil DeMille, Van Johnson, and Jean Harlow.
    I had the opportunity to purchase a part of this collection and will be listing these portrait and photos in the coming weeks.
