    Condition is "Used".
    The upper right corner tip of the picture is missing.  Slivers of slate is missing which is typical
    with slate.
    Slate Tile measures approx. 7" x 5 1/2".
    The plate has a leather cord for wall display.
    According to the info on the back (see pictures) the slate tile was mined in Pennsylvania and transported to New Orleans down the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. This tile was recycled from one of the old building in the Vieux Carre area and dates back to the late 1700's or early 1800's.  Each one was individually hand shaped.
