Mark inside lid cover looks like it says DIANA with a female and animal (deer antelope or gazelle?) design
1930s? Brooklyn, NY
Overall very good shape - no chips or cracks.
Lid could use a little polishing up.
Painted knob on top of bowl has a tiny paint chip missing.
I assume vintage 1930's mid-century.
I could not find another one online to help me describe this piece.
Here is something I did find:
This hard to find late 1930s, Art Deco design?  Stamped as shown, "DIANA CHROME, FARBER & SHLEVIN, INC., BROOKLYN, N.Y. with the Diana Chrome logo of the mythological Roman goddess of the hunt (later a moon goddess) and an antelope (both icons of the Art Deco period). Not much information is available on this company. Shlevin was known more for it's porcelain items and Farber for hand-wrought aluminum giftware. No dings, dents, corrosion or splits to the top or cap. Hardly any scratches to speak of and the bottom rim shows minimal to no abrasion
I am helping my 83-year aunt downsize.  Many items are vintage and from her or my great grandmother’s collections of treasures.
All condition details are noted; vintage and will have signs of use as expected.
I am not washing anything, as I do not want to cause any damage.  I am not experienced in antiques, so I am posting trying to describe to the best of my ability.
