This listing is for a Tommi Parzinger for Dorlyn Silversmiths Polished Brass Silent Butler. Circa 1950s. This piece has a flip up attached lid and is made of solid brass. It is hallmarked on the back along with it’s original “solid brass” sticker as shown in the pictures. This elegant brass box was originally used to pick up crumbs at the dinner table. It can also be used for storage of small items. It measures 1.5 inches tall by 8 inches in diameter by 13.5 inches long including the handle.
Condition:
No dings, dents or splits. There are light surface scratches to the brass finish from age and use. The hinges on the lid work well and do not have any damage. This piece has it’s original finish inside and out. There are a few dark spots in the brass finish that can be polished out if desired.I have not polished this box.
