8x10 photo of 1951 THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD. Original strike circa 1973 on fiber paper from RKO neg, amde by Jerry Ohlinhgher. No stills of THE THING were ever issued of Arness in the make-up. These comic gallery shots were made but not released, showing Arness with his stunt double Billy Curtiz, who played The Thing in reduced scale during the electrocution at the climax.  Ohlinger sold a small number of prints until Turner Entertainment legitimately confiscated the RKO negs from the commercial lab. Since then only dupes can ever be found.
