    This is the Current standard
    khukuri
    knife issued to the Nepalese who has been recruited as Gurkhas after fierce selection.
    This design  was introduced during 1980’s for the brigade of
    Gurkha's
    as
    Mark-V
    , (the last marked khukuris of the gurkhas),  and is still in the service of the Gurkhas with the same design but slight changes on their shape and design. Its slick and simple design makes it very comfortable for daily use, and comes in handy in gorilla warfare and acts as a basic utility tool.
    These are hand-forged by local black smith of Nepal in a traditional way where the scrap part of spring steel or leaf of trucks, car or train leak are heated in the wood

    in the mud burner and then hammered to give a shape of a particular knife. After this these knives are
