METROPOLIS FRITZ LANG FLYER 1927 BRIGITTE HELM CHANNING POLLOCK

Description

this is a wonderful piece of early cinematic history.
it's an original metropolitan news 4 pg flyer or handout from july 28, 1927.
what makes the flyer so special is that 1/2 of the cover's verbiage is devoted to the fritz lang masterpiece, metropolis.
additionally, there's a lovely image of brigitte helm.
a little more than 1/2 of the 2nd pg is devoted to an interview w channing pollock who adapted the photoplay.
nearly 1/2 the back pg is devoted to the cast listing of the buster keaton comedy classic, college.
ea pg measures nearly 5.5"x8."
the image of brigitte helm is lovely.
there is wear/damage that includes -
central horiz fold line (thru helm, but her image shows thru beautifully).
the bottom rt corner area has a light brown stain on all the pgs.
but, everything is certainly legible - and not near brigitte helm's image.
some very, very small/minor binding & edge chips - don't deter.
very small/very minor, light blemish on upper left tip throughout - just on margin.
terrific item.
nearly impossible to find any original metropolis material.
