    Description

    Greece Scott # 176-78, Issued in 1901.  MNH.  OK, why am I lsiting this under Liberia in addition to Greece?  I actually got a block of each in a Liberia collection.  The centeral design of Mercury or Hermes was created by Perkins Bacon.  They used it for these three values of the Greece 1901 issue.  Seventeen years laters Perkins Baccon used the exact same design on Liberia 168 & O103.   Note disturbed gum at left edge of let stamps (right when viewing the rear).  My 2011 Scott (latest I have for Greede) lists these with a CV of 0!
