Original Herald from Uruguay and Argentina in South America. This kind of gorgeous heralds are quite scarce, they were printed by a local distributor (Max Glücksmann) just during a short period of time between the late 1920's and the late 1930's. Usually printed on both sides, in full color or in duotone inks featuring Art Deco style, they show great graphics from the films advertised. Comments:
Spanish-language version of the early John Wayne film The Big Trail, filmed simultaneously. Raul Coleman (named Breck Coleman in the U.S. version) leads settlers in covered wagons westward across the great prairie and mountains.
Plot:
A young cowboy must take care of the train journey of a large group of settlers that crosses the state of Oregon. During the long journey, the occupants will have to face a number of adversities, such as buffalo stampedes, overflowing rivers and the attack of the Indians.
