This item
is a warming plate, the type that you place a small candle in, and sit a pan or coffee pot on top of the plate.
This warmer was made sometime prior to 1980 when the Dutch boy Company was owned by National Lead.

This
item is in excellent condition, it has never been used. However, as you can see by the one photo the box is old and has been in storage. It comes complete with the literature and the candles.
