    Description

    These are the "Pizzicato" model Helicore strings, (note the
    red
    silk wrap at the ball end of the strings indicating
    PIZZICATO MODEL
    ). The packaging says "Hybrid" (which has a
    green
    wrap) but I didn't save the box & sleeves when I bought them.
    For pure jazz or other primarily pizz (finger) playing, these are tough to beat. They have incredible volume, projection and sustain, and have a brighter sound. In comparing these to other similarly constructed strings (think Spirocore), I prefer the tone & feel of these under the hands.
