    Description

ITEM: This is a c. 1927 vintage and original photograph of actress Anne Cornwall. A sporting pin-up portrait, Cornwall is a collegiate co-ed footballer in this playful view that we believe was used to publicize her role opposite Buster Keaton in "College" (1927).
Brunette, baby-faced screen actress Anne Cornwall managed to remain in the "ingénue" category for nearly ten years after her film debut in 1919. Her most celebrated silent-screen appearance was as Buster Keaton's co-ed girlfriend in "College" (1927). She made her talking picture bow as one of the two flirtatious lassies picked up by sailors Laurel and Hardy in "Men O'War" (1929). Thereafter, her film appearances were scattered and generally minor.
Photograph measures 7.75" x 10" on a glossy paper stock with linen backing.
Guaranteed to be 100% vintage and original from Grapefruit Moon Gallery.
