CHASE CHROME DECO 3 pc. BREAKFAST SET – GERTH DESIGN

These three items constitute the Chase Breakfast set, catalog # 26001,
a small cute, sugar and creamer
pair with elegant tray.
It was sold from 1934 –’39. The description from the catalog reads: “The Gerths designed this...set of semi-spherical design, one of the most popular Chase Specialties. It is of polished chromium with choice of white or black handles.”
The sugar bowl is 4 ¼ inches high, 3 ¾” in diameter; creamers is 3 1/8” diameter, with handle 4 7/8” long. The tray is 11 5/8” long by 5” wide.
Condition is excellent. A few scuff marks and minor scratches, two tiny dents at the lower part of the sugar bowl which are insignificant. The rims are all nice and round. The handle of the creamer is set on just slightly off level, but it was made that way and you can only see that by looking right at the end of the handle. The tray is in very good condition, about 6 teeny spots of chrome loss(?) on the surface, some light scratches and 3 tiny impact points on one end.  All pieces are marked on the bottom.
