6 VINTAGE ART DECO CHROME & GLASS WINE GOBLETS
Wonderful vintage set of six Art Deco pierced, chrome base wine goblets, each measuring 6" tall. Featuring a flared bowl style insert designed to nest into each base, colors are jewel tones of amethyst, emerald and gold - goblet measures about 3-1/4" wide and each is nicely weighted. Although unmarked, these are by Farberware - glass was made by Cambridge.
Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage - I do not think they were used much if at all - they have been decorating an ART DECO mirrored bar cabinet since the 1950s. Designed to snugly fit into the base, glass bowl can be removed with some persuasion - they are very tightly fitted - chrome is very shiny and glass sparkles. Just a wonderful set - perfect with a chrome shaker or similar ART DECO pieces - fun addition to any collection or display!
