Features Bing Crosby w Marion Davies (Going Hollywood) and Robert Young w Janet Gaynor (Carolina). Missing section on one end approximately 3¾" x 1¼". With this 87+ year-old paper collectible, you can also expect nicks, possible insect damage, staple holes, rust stains from staples, age discoloration, staining or small tears. It has been folded into fourths so there are three gently rounded crease marks at approximately 4" intervals across its width. Please examine the photos of this rare and fragile paper item carefully.

    This 9x15 original newsprint photo sampler advertises photo enlargements available to theaters for movies in the years 1933 and 1934.
    The actors in these films are Bing Crosby and Marion Davies (Going Hollywood) and Robert Young and Janet Gaynor (Carolina).
    This
    two-sided
    advertising piece was sent out to local movie theatres by the publishing company, Metropolitan Engravers, Ltd., and features - on both sides - a selection of graphics for Lobby Advertising that theaters of the day could choose from. This sampler is printed on heavy newsprint in various shades of black, white, and grey.
    Condition:
    Although this page is in relatively good condition, it has been folded into fourths so there are three gently rounded crease marks at approximately four-inch intervals across its width. With this 85+-year-old paper collectible, you can also expect some possible nicks, insect damage, staple holes, rust stains from staples, age discoloration, or tears.  Most of these do not affect the collectible value of the piece. Please examine the photos of the item carefully.
