The original page features an entertainment industry promotion...a Dec 1 ad for the Dec 3 opening of Anna Christie, starring Blanche Sweet ... based on a play by Eugene O'Neill ...
Interestingly, this advertisement shows an extensive listing of opening theatres... including the Strand in New York ... the Alhambra in Milwaukee and Canton OH ....the Savoy in Wilkes-Barre ... the Stanley in Philadelphia ...the Orpheum in Ft Wayne... Madison in Peoria ... the Empire in Mobile ... the Broadway in Charlotte... and many more places, most of which probably no longer exist....
